This stiff ride paired with an extremely dialled frame geometry produces an exceptionally fast and agile ride experience. The Scale 740 comes equipped with a Suntour fork which has 100mm of premium suspension travel and remote lockout technology that allows you to optimize your ride control. Drive comes in the form of a Shimano 21 speed drivetrain which provides exceptional shift quality and further enhances the bikes low weight characteristics. Scott have selected Tektro SCM 02 mechanical disc brakes for this model to offer powerful and progressive braking in all weather conditions. The Contessa Scale 740 is designed around a wheel size of 27.5 inches, on this model they come in the form of Syncros rims complemented with a pair of Kenda Slant tires.
